Money: last issue paid for but we have no spare cash, so

Benefits: are therefore a Good Idea. Paul's into putting on an
alternative cabaret - Mark will try & book a date at the
Paradise. Simon fancies an all nighter at RCU. Mark concerned at
hogging benefits (involved in last 3) but fears allayed. Next one: Dec
10th, Paradise Club.

Business Odds'n'Sods:

 - Red Rag funk / dance tape should be out shortly. Check on its
   financial viability - just out of interest.

 - Postcards - still in Acorn for only 15p. No plans for big
   print run. They need distribution. Will be on sale at disco in the
   10th.

 - Calendar: Sue C & Lynne?

 - Poster - Clive & Mark will be able to print it soon. Good idea to
   sell it at benefits etc as (1) money is raised and (2) Red Rag's
   name is spread.

Advert Person: someone is needed to persuade groups etc to put paid
ads into the Rag, to boost income etc, as James no longer wants to
handle ads. It was felt that the co-ordinator was busy enough without
this. So, someone's needed. NB Community House no longer to go in, as
they haven't a standing order now...

Help is always welcome!!

Posties: if you know anyone out of Reading who'd like the Rag sent -
no problem! Put their name, address, how much they've paid for
postage, & the date, on a bit of paper in Box 79, Acorn, marked
Posties.

(Xmas one: 800-1000 copies only, distributed via outlets...)

Content: Paul feels (potential) readers / outlets may be put off by
"extreme" articles, & thinks a disclaimer would help. So (1) on front
page say "RR is an open forum for ideas - all contributions welcome"
(2) someone(!) to draft a leaflet for next collective, explaining the
Rag, to give new outlets, readers, etc.

Information... "Help" section (updated by Cliff from "Between the
Lines" for next issue & every couple of months... Can the Events
person do an "Organisations" list, for similar inclusion? And why not
encourage people to write about their group for the Rag?

Sunday: The Sunday co-ordinator system won't work if everyone leaves
it all to that person. Everyone should try & get people to come & fold
etc - a good way to get into the Rag, too.
